Configuring your Netgear DG834 Router |

| Follow the instructions below to configure your ADSL service on your Netgear router. |

- Connect the router to the telephone line as per the included instructions.
For a wireless connection, you will need to install the software for the USB adaptor and then connect the adaptor to your computer. Your computer should pick up the wireless network automatically.

- Log on to your Netgear router:
- Open your web browser
- In the Address bar, enter the address http://192.168.0.1 and click Enter

- In the window that appears, enter
- username: admin
- password: password
|

- When the Netgear page appears, click on Basic Settings on the menu on the left of the screen.

Fill in the form on the Basic Setup page as follows.
- Does your Internet Connection require a login: Select Yes.
- Choose PPPoA for the encapsulation method.
- Enter the login name and password you have been provided with.
- Internet IP Address:
- Click Apply to save the settings

- Your Netgear should now attempt to connect to the Internet. You should give up to 30 secods for this to happen.
If you do not have a connection, unplug the router for five minutes and try again.
