Email Configuration - Windows Mail

Select 'Tools' from the main menu and select 'Accounts'.

Select 'Add'.

Select 'Email Account' and 'Next'.

Enter your 'Display Name' this will be how your email displays itself when you send an email. Click on 'Next'.

Enter your email address followed by 'Next'.

Select your incoming mail server as POP3

  1. Incoming mail server - will depend on your email address. See mail servers.
  2. The outgoing mail server in most cases will be specified by your broadband provider.
  3. There also is a tick box for 'Outgoing Mail Server Requires Authentication', this is checked if your mail provider or broadband provider requests you to do so. In most cases this will be unchecked.

Your username and password are case sensitive. If they are incorrect you will encounter mail problems. A Firenet username will be your email address. Click 'Remember Password' and click on 'Next'.

You will now see a 'Congratulations' screen and click on 'Finish'.
