You can configure your Speedtouch router using the following methods:

1. Using the wizard supplied with the installation CD.
2. Using the router's web interface.

Wizard Setup

Enter the CD into the CD-ROM drive.
Follow the on screen instructions and the Wizard will attempt to detect your router. Once detected, please click 'Next'.
Depending on the version of router, you will see one of the following dialog boxes.

Select Region: World
Provider: Generic ISP
Service: PPPoA (DHCP-NAT)

Select Region: UK
Provider: All
Service: Dynamic Address

On the next Screen, you may need to select VPI/VCI: 0/38
Enter your provided Firenet ADSL username and password.
Within the next dialog box, you may be asked for an additional username and password.
This is the Speedtouch 510's security username and password. The default values are:

If you enter alternative values please take a note of the new settings.

Router Configuration using the Web Interface

To log on to your Speedtouch router.
Open your web browser.
In the address bar, type http://10.0.0.138 and press Enter.

When prompted for a username and password, enter:

You should now be logged on to the router interface.
Select 'Connect' from the menu on the left of the page.

Enter your supplied Firenet ADSL username and password.
Click on the 'Save All' button, and 'OK' when prompted.
You should now be able to connect to the Internet.
If not, please switch the router off at the power supply for at least five minutes, reconnect and attempt again.
